On February 15, 2023, Zhang Yun, President of the Shaoguan Zhejiang (Jiangsu) Chamber of Commerce, along with Executive Presidents Wang Huanhua and Hu Zhiyi, and Supervisor Chen Lijun, visited the South China Advanced Equipment Industrial Park to meet with fellow Zhejiang-born entrepreneur.

       President Zhang Yun and his delegation successively visited Yili (Shaoguan) Metal Technology Co., Ltd. (Shaoguan Yuekai Metal Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Shaoguan Xingtian Metal Products Co., Ltd.), Xiangming Steel Co., Ltd., Guangdong Shenli Metal Products Co., Ltd., Guangdong Junpu Hardware Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Guangdong Yitong Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., and other enterprises founded by Zhejiang-born entrepreneurs for exchange visits. They received a warm welcome from the fellow entrepreneur. At each stop, President Zhang Yun详细介绍 the Chamber's development status and future goals, and sincerely invited outstanding Zhejiang-born entrepreneurs to join the Chamber family, working together to contribute ideas and efforts for the Chamber's growth and expansion.

      After hearing President Zhang Yun's introduction, the fellow entrepreneurs also expressed their willingness to actively join the Chamber, uniting with fellow locals in Shaoguan to seek cooperation and共同谋划 development.

       In November 2016, the Dongguan and Shaoguan municipal governments signed an agreement to jointly build the "Shaoguan Supporting Zone of the Pearl River West Coast Advanced Equipment Manufacturing Industry Belt - South China Advanced Equipment Industrial Park".
      The park is located next to Baowu Group Guangdong Shaoguan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. in Qujiang District, with a total area of 43.5 square kilometers (the Shaogang area covers 12.5 sq km, and the equipment manufacturing production area covers 31 sq km). The first-phase startup zone has 12,000 mu of construction land. The park's overall positioning is the core area of the Shaoguan Supporting Zone for the Pearl River West Coast Advanced Equipment Manufacturing Industry Belt. Its industrial focus is to leverage the special steel industry advantages of Baowu Group, extend the special steel industry chain, vigorously cultivate and develop four major industrial systems: special steel deep-processing basic components, equipment manufacturing parts, complete set (unit) equipment manufacturing, and equipment services. It aims to build a full industry chain park centered around special steel, striving to create an industrial cluster with an output value exceeding 50 billion yuan before 2020.
