On May 17, 2024, a unique "Association-Enterprise-School" Employment and Labor Demand Exchange Symposium was grandly held in the conference room on the second floor of our company. This symposium was hosted by our company, jointly organized with the Shaoguan Guanshao Industrial Co-construction Enterprise Association, Shaoguan Machinery Industry Association, Shaoguan Auto Parts Industry Association, Guangdong Songshan Polytechnic College, Shaoguan Technician College, Zhenjiang Secondary Vocational School in Shaoguan, and with the participation of over 30 enterprises from the industrial park. Dr. Zeng Xiangfeng from the Shaoguan Industry and Information Technology Bureau and Mr. Ye Shaoqing, Director of the Social Affairs Bureau of the South China Advanced Equipment Industrial Park Management Committee, were also invited to attend. The purpose of this exchange was to build a platform for school-enterprise collaboration and cooperation to jointly address the issue of graduate employment and enterprise labor demand.
Our company's Chairman, Lu Yue, serving as the Rotating President of the Guanshao Industrial Co-construction Enterprise Association, Executive Vice President of the Shaoguan Machinery Industry Association, and Vice President of the Shaoguan Auto Parts Industry Association, first took the stage to deliver a welcome speech, expressing gratitude to all attendees. Subsequently, Chairman Lu explained the original intention behind hosting this symposium: Commissioned by the three association presidents, he, along with the Secretary-General, conducted in-depth investigations into enterprises and found that most companies are currently facing difficulties in recruiting and employing workers. In response, Chairman Lu actively took action,hosting this "Association-Enterprise-School" Employment and Labor Demand Exchange Symposium. He expressed the hope that through in-depth discussions at this symposium,seamless connection and close cooperation between schools and enterprises could be achieved,to jointly solve the problems of graduate employment and enterprise labor demand.
During the symposium, enterprise representatives engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the current employment situation for graduates, enterprise labor demands, and school-enterprise cooperation. The enterprise representatives spoke freely, unanimously stating that with the continuous development of their companies and technological advancements, the demand for talent is becoming increasingly urgent. They expressed the hope that educational institutions could provide more high-quality skilled talents that meet the actual needs of enterprises.
Meanwhile, representatives from the educational institutions also introduced the characteristics and advantages of their respective talent cultivation programs. They expressed willingness to strengthen cooperation with enterprises, jointly explore new models for talent cultivation, and supply more outstanding talents to enterprises.
The successful hosting of this symposium not only provided a platform for schools and enterprises to understand each other and engage in in-depth communication but also injected new momentum into promoting the sustainable development of our enterprises. It is believed that with the joint efforts of all parties, future "Association-Enterprise-School" cooperation will be closer, talent cultivation and supply will be more efficient, making greater contributions to the prosperity and development of the regional economy in Shaoguan.
